Last Night's Bike Ride

We went on a bike ride last night, and I wanted to practice using some features on my camera, but by the time we got going it was almost dark. It turned out to be a beautiful sunset. Macey was trying to catch some firefly's...they were everywhere...too bad they didn't show up in the pictures. The weather has been awesome here lately, dropping down in the low 60's at night, so we have spent a lot of time outside. Too bad Macey gets mosquito bites like me...I guess Vinnie's blood just isn't sweet enough.

Macey's 1st field trip

Macey had her first field trip today. Her class went to the library. She said there were tons of books and puppets too. She was most excited about riding on the bus...Tonight as we were getting ready for bed she told me 'mommy if you need more milk you say la leche'. I didn't learn much Spanish in school, but I do know la leche is milk. Needless to say I was surprised she knew that. Lately she has been counting more in Spanish than English. I guess this is just a sign of the times. Vince and I better freshen up on our Spanish. uugh!!
